I was, and still am, a huge Ramones fan. I have Blondie tee shirts for my girls but for your punk rock boy, these Ramones canvas shoes are a must have. They are infant crib shoes, which is the perfect time to start influencing them to ensure they have good music taste when they grow up (so they won't torture you with Jonas Brothers, or the likes). The laces are stretchy faux laceups so you don't ever have to worry about tying them. At Olie Bollen for $22.50.

Pediped announces a new line of sandals for Spring that has memory foam in the soles. Just when I thought their shoes couldn't get any better they once again surprise me with constant innovation and as always, adorable designs. There are a few more styles for girls with the memory foam but every boy will agree that the Brody ($52) is just groovy.
Girls also have the choice of the Penny ($45) ballet flat with the much needed chushiony memory foam sole. I am rejoicing over this new style for Pediped because I've yet to find comfortable ballet flats for tots (or for myself for that matter. When are they going to make grown up shoes?)

Rose Petal Tutu
Ballerina tutus are universally loved by all little girls and why wouldn't they? The puffy tulle and flower pedals on this fun and adorable skirt will have her beaming from ear to ear feeling like a real life princess. For $36.
Manhattan Toy Automoblox C9 Red Sportscar
Boys love Valentine's Day just as much, but just in different ways. The Automoblox is like Lego's with a twist. Race car red is just what he asked cupid to send. For $24.17.
Luna Luna Cha Cha Biker Shorts
Under a skirt or by itself, this ruffled bloomers makes the outfit. Especially cute for tots still in diapers! For $48.
Pediped Ashley
Some wear their hearts on their sleeves but Shoe Snobs always express themselves in their shoes. This chocolate brown leather upper and two-tone Nubuck heart accents Mary Jane is perfect for all occasions but the best timely gift for Valentine's. For $23.

This tee has 6 snap-on designs for Christmas, Valentine's, St. Patrick's, Easter, Halloween and Thanksgiving. Get this now since now is the first holiday of the series, but make sure you size up to make it through the year. For $54.
I Love You More Than Rainbows
I love this book of great rhymes, sweet sentiments, bright bold illustrations, and easy-to-understand text. Your tots know you love them even if you cannot fully articulate it (no one can properly articulate that amount of emotion!) but it is still nice to hear it said out loud. For $10.19.
My shoe obsession spills over to a shoe obsession for my tots, of course! It is actually pretty obscene how much shoes my girls have. But how can I control myself when there are so many cute shoes out there in the world?! The Spring See Kai Run collection is seriously testing my will power. The Shari ($40) in the biggest color this spring, lemon yellow, just shouts out happiness and sunshine (it even has a matching yellow sole!). The flowers appliques and leaf cutouts will coordinate perfectly with her Easter dress. For boys, they get equal share when it comes to spoiling. The Theodore ($38) sandals are a little bit rock 'n roll and a little bit surfer dude. The straps and closures are perfectly placed for a sure fit.
I just discovered the most wonderful and precious shoe line, Livie and Luca. I found them at Baby Wright's in Manhattan Beach, one of my favorite boutiques for tots, and both my daughters just fell in love. They look handmade with love and has a comfortable flexible rubber sole and a padded Achilles heel for blister protection. They are also made wide for those with lovely padded feet. The designs are whimsical and charming, like they were made by fairies! The designs are very fairy-eque with flowers, butterflies and mushrooms motifs. I was expecting to pay a kings ransom for such gems but they are only $45 at Livie and Luca's website. I paid $50 at the store but with shipping, it comes out to be the same. The company is committed to using recycled leather, so not only are your tots reducing their environmental footprints with their footprints, you get the benefit of the savings!! Win Win Win for all. The Livie's Pink Wings Mary Jane with six colorful butterflies for $45 and the Pio Pio Pink, which is the sound birds make in Spanish, has a pink bird with contrasting green base (also comes in other color ways) for $45.50.
Ballet slippers for everyday wear! What can be better? This is one grown up trend that is absolutely appropriate for tots, actually i thinks we're the ones borrowing the trend :). The rubber sole is comfortable and provides a non slip surface for the constant running, skipping and hopping. The strap across the feet give additional support so there is no Cinderella drama. That happened while crossing the street with both my tots in tow. There was a daring rescue of the fallen shoe that was just too close for my comfort. At Saks Fifth Avenue for $180.
Are these seriously for tots? Do tots really need to be this cool? It is fun to dress your boy like a rock star, I mean, that's what I would do if I had a boy. Although I have a nephew now and I'm inclined to dress him like Little Lord Fauntleroy =) I can just see this with IKKS - the most original designer for tot fashion. These boots are great for wintry days, I know the bad weather is abating soon but get them a size up now that it's on sale. At Saks Fifth Avenue for $290, $144.99.
Save up to 40% on select Pediped shoes from now through Feb. 5th and they will donate 50% of the sale price to Make-a-Wish. This is the perfect time to stock up on your favorite designs and make your purchase meaningful at the same time. I am getting the Ashley (Choc Brown/Fuchsia, $23) with all the cute hearts, perfect for Valentines. I'm sure my friends will appreciate this more than chocolate for their tots =) And their boys designs are just as cute, like the Josh (Navy/White/Blue, $23).
Happy New Year! As we celebrate a brand new decade, I would like to look back and recap on my favorite products from 2009. These are things I cannot live without, some are luxuries but all of these make my life as a mommy better!

One of the best inventions of all time! We all want fresh and nutritious food for our tots, but who has the time? This Beaba Baby Cook does all the work for you, just throw in the washed produce and it will steam and puree it for you. This is not a luxury, it is a necessity!! Beaba Baby Cook for $149.
Do not even consider getting on a plane with a car seat unless you have a new born under 9 months. This 5-point harness seat belt will save your sanity and make your travel actually pleasant! For $74.95.

Pediped Flex
I thought Pediped Originals were the best things on earth until they came out with Pediped Flex for toddlers. Super cute and incredibly comfortable. The best part, the insoles that come out as your tot grows so you get extended wear by one whole size! That is serious value because we all have barely worn shoes that were outgrown before they made it out the door. Prices range from $39-45 depending on style.
Oh how I love this line! Original, spunky and more style than my own wardrobe. My tots always look their best while glowing with their own personalities in Right Bank Babies designs. I have to stop though, they are starting to look like paid models for the line!

Chasing Fireflies - Best website ever! You will find so many treasures from clothing to gear to unique toys. The only problem is, they do not tell you the designers of their products are you are pretty much stuck buying from them. Luckily, they have great customer service and their prices are great, with incredible sales!! They take care of me so I just make my life easy by going to them first.

Nalgene Tritan Grip-N-Gulp BPA-Free Water Bottle - Best Sippy Cup! I don't do spring cleaning, I do new years cleaning. To start off a brand new year, I have to clear out everything I don't want or need, which includes all the sippy cups other than the Nalgene. I still love Siggs for the road but for everyday use, this is the only leak proof sippy that does not have a thousand little valves and nozzles. It has one. Try it, I promise you will not look back. For $7.70.
Sentimental jewelry becomes even more special as a mom. But you have to be careful because there are some really bad cheesy photo pendants and lockets. Monica Rich Kosann is real precious jewelry, the details are exact and delicate for pieces that are worthy of a Jewel Snob.
Take a look at the collection.
I have a pile of blankets that is higher than the height of my closet. And that pile pretty much stays untouched because the only blankets I end up using are the Little Giraffes. They are soft, lightweight, thin and as comfortable as a cloud. Hands down the best gifts for a baby shower.
At Layla Grayce for $78
I have 6 strollers so I know what I'm talking about. This Uppa Baby is the best. The reason I have so many strollers is because there was not ONE that fit all my needs. Sometimes I'm going for a long walk so I need the performance of the Bugaboo, other times I need my Maclaren Volo for it's lightweight and easy collapse features for the New York subway. Then there are those days you know your tot will fall asleep so you need one that reclines. The scenarios are endless but this Uppa Baby seems to handle them all with ease. For $669.99 at Uppa Baby.

Flip UltraHD Camcorder, 120 Minutes (Black)
I am pretty sure most parents already have the Flip but in case you don't, get one immediately. You will never miss another YouTube moment every again with this tiny 2 oz HD camera that takes up less room in your bag than 2 tubes of lip gloss. The picture quality is amazing, truly HD and easy easy easy to operate. And for $149.99, it is an easy sell.
These are one of those many things that are only cute on small sizes. Sequined Chuck Taylors on me sound great in concept but is clownish in reality. But for Tots, there is nothing more appropriate or adorable. My 2 year old has these and I put them on her with dresses because honestly, super stiff patent leather shoes are just not comfortable or good for little feet. My tots refuse to wear "fancy" shoes and with good reason. She also wore these with her Princess Halloween costume and I can't even tell you ridiculously fabulous they were!! At Chasing Fireflies for $35.
